I was preaching the good news on the street last Sunday in a cold and windy evening. I was shouting out the messages to the passbyers and the running cars on three directions.
I noticed that there was an Alberta licensed passenger vechicle with a family of four turning right. It appeared that the father was interested to notice a man standing on the street with a uplifted placard with him. he was reading the texts but did not have enough time to ask me a question due to the green light was on. He drove away.
I was continuing to preach the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Then I spotted him again on the opposite of the lane and waiting for passing the intersection. He called me to give him some pamphlet to read. I told him that it was too late for me to pass the road. Then he asked, "what is it?" "It is about the Good news of Jesus Christ who can save our souls. are you Christians?" "Yes, we are." "Then, it is too simple for you. Love the Lord Jesus Christ. " "Praise be to G-d. Praise be to G-d." He shouted with boldness that I seldom saw in other people. he drove away after the light turned green.
I did not know whether he lives here or was taking a family trip to BC. however, it appeared that he was moved to see a disciple standing in a chilly evening to preach the gospel. His reaction moved me and I prayed for him and his family during the week. I prayed that G-d may bless his heart to love Him more and more. I prayed that G-d may choose him to serve him on the street even. We need more bold disciples to answer His calling to spread the gospel and bring the ending near.
Yes, I prayed also that we may work together to share the gospel to the lost ones around the cities and countries. Not just with him, also with all those whom G-d has chosen to serve Him in the same way he has chosen us.
Thanks be to the Almighty G-d. May your Name be praised in all your saints' heart. Amen forever.
Called to serve, Called to stand, called to testify the Truth.
