I met a young man on the street on September 27th, a bright sunny afternoon. I had a quick chat with him when he responded to my preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ. I asked him whether he is a Christian. He said yes. I asked him whether he reads bible every day and pray every day. He said not always. I asked him why. He said that he is a student in Grade 12. He wants to go to University and has to study hard. I told him that was good. However, the Bible teaches us to love the Lord with all our hear, with all my mind, and with all our soul. We shall place G-d in the first place in our daily life. He told me that my words made him felt guilty. I corrected him that it was Jesus' words made him feel guilty as I just repeated what He said. I encouraged him to read the Bible every day for five minutes least, and pray alone for five minutes. He answered with some hesitation but promised me to try to that.
He was about 6 feet 10 inches high. He has a good clever looking and a pair of clean eyes. He also showed his honesty and openness and a willing heart to change. He may have many other good virtues that I did not know. I pray that what he has, the Lord will increase more and more in him. I pray that the Lord will give him more faith and love for G-d in his life. I pray that when he grows up, he will always remember to honor his G-d and Savior Jesus Christ first and most. I pray in Jesus Name, amen.
