As a sent street preacher at MetroTown in Burnable of BC, I encountered many people who came with middle fingers and dirty languages mixed with racism, religious hatred, curses, and slanders against my faith and even my Lord Christ Yehoshua (This is the Hebrew name in English translation of the Son of the Almighty God. He is called more often as Jesus, which is a Greek to English name.) in middle of June 2018, a Sunday evening around 7:45PM, I was preaching at the same location. A big build man age of 40+ walked towards me and yelled at me by saying "You speaks shit. Jesus is dead. You are a fool." I was a little bit shocked as he had a very hard or bad day as his work uniform was not clean. I answered him gently, "Jesus is alive and in Heaven. I am sharing this great news with you. you are deceived. " then he walked to a chair and started to smoke in front of the entrance of sky train station.
I continued to preach to the others and tell them the good news of the salvation of our souls and the righteousness of our G-d. One of my other Christian friend was with me that night. He did not preach but tried to catch a chance to talk to those who stopped by and to share the Gospel of Christ Yehoshua.
As the night went dark, I told him to call off the day. We walked towards westward. About 50 meters away, the man who shouted at me before ran to us from the behind. I did not know the reason and knew that he was reading my placard filled with the Words of my G-d. out of our surprising, he started to apologize to me, "I am very sorry for what I said to you before. I am the ass hole and you are not. I am the bad guy and I hope you have a good night. " "Do feel sad. God will forgive you as you repented. May peace from Him be with you." "Thank you. good night. " Then, he walked back and left us.
Our hearts were so rejoicing at that moment as we knew that the kindness and righteousness of our God touched his injured heart. His confession and apology made us feel that our work bears a heavy weigh to some lost ones. This is the Love from our awesome and righteous G-d. He despises no one as we all are sinners. He cares for us and knows our weakness. He tolerates our inability when we are in trouble. He forgives our sinfulness when we were defeated by this world. Yet, He reignite our hope of His Righteousness and Justice. He restores our inner moral conscience. He lights our eyes to see the true face of this world. and He draws us to choose Him and follow Him.
Praise be to the One and Only G-d, our Father in Heaven, and the Lord Christ Yehoshua and the Holy Spirit. Heaven was rejoicing when that man repented his wrong doings, when he regret of his bitterness, his uncontrolled insult. May the Lord forgive him. May the peace be with him.
Amen and Forever.
