In a sunny afternoon on January 11 2015 at Richmond Brig house sky train station, a young and colorful girl came out from the station and starred at my protesting board while her female friend with her. They both are young an good looking with good frame. Suddenly, her face turned to angry and walked towards me. She pointed her fingers at me and asked, "Can I ask you a question?" upon her aggressive posture, I retreated a few steps,
A: "surely. Go ahead."
Q: "Do you hate gays?"
A: "No. I do not hate any gay people."
Q: "then why does your sign say that you hate gays?"
A: "My sign does not say I hate gay people at all. It says the gay sex is immoral. The Bible teaches us that the Lord loves the sinner but hates sins."
Q: "So if gay people have gay sex, they are immoral. aren't they?"
A: "You said it as you understand. I did not say that and I judge no one. " It appeared that that was a contentious point that could enroll us in a very hateful discussion. I explained it more. "We were all born sinner. if we believe in G-d, we cannot keep sinning for G-d hates sin. even if you were born gay, we were born with sins. But this does not allow us to be sinners all the time if we believe in G-d. "
I tried to differ her intention a bit,
Q: "Do you believe that G-d exists?"
Q: "If you do not believe it, why do you hate me about what I believe? Do I have no rights to choose what I believe and promote what I believe?"
No answer from her as she knew properly that every one has the right to choose what he or she believes by the constitution law of Canada.
She became even more angry when she could not argue better with me. She yelled at me
"Do you tell me that I cannot marry her?"
She pointed to her girlfriend who was standing beside her, an Asian-looking girl. I noticed that her very moral sense inside of her provoked her to be so angry as she did consider herself as a moral being.
"No. You can choose what you want as the law legalized the gay marriage in our country. but legal does not mean moral in what I believe."
I affirmed what I was protesting when I was on the street. Her friend said,
"I go to church and believe in G-d. I believe that I can be gay as G-d gives us free will. "
"yes, sister. we can choose freely but every decision we made bears a consequence. Jesus came to take away the sins and asked the sinners to repent. If you believe in G-d, you shall repent your sins. "
"I will never repent of being gay."
The white girl stepped under my noise, and shouted at me with popped eyes and raised eye browns,
"You say that I cannot marry her?"
I looked down at her fiery face and retracted a few steps again,
"No. you can choose what you like. I preach what I believe and what I know."
Since she does not believe in G-d, I tried to calm her down without further confrontation between us.
Her girl friend drag her away as she became very violent towards me. That was a smart move for all of us even she was stepping her feet to express her unceasing anger.
Some bystanders told me when they left, "That girl thought she was something or what. she does not have rights to do so to you."
"Yes, I agree with you. this world oppress the truth and hate the truth. We knew not each other. She does not like the message on my board. So choose wisely as the time is coming for the judgement. "
"you're right. see you." He jugged away.
If you believe in Jesus Christ, and live a gay-sexual life, you must repent as such deeds and sins are condemned by the Almighty G-d and documented in the Bible. G-d destroyed two whole cities full of sexual immoral, who all wanted to have sex with two male strangers : angels sent from G-d. Follow not your own hearts but the Truth of G-d.
Revelations 22:14-15 (NIV)
"Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the fates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexual immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehoods. "
May the peace from the Lord be with all who fear Him. Amen.
